A licence granted in April 2026
France's National Gaming Authority granted bet365 an online sports betting licence on 16 April 2026, for five years. The offer is available on bet365.fr and in the mobile app.
A launch just before the World Cup
The site opened at the end of May 2026, a few weeks before the World Cup, during Roland-Garros and the Champions League final. France was one of the last major European markets where bet365 was not yet present.
Features on offer
- Bet Builder: combine several selections on the same match (winner, scorer, number of goals).
- Cash Out: settle a bet before the event ends.
- Bet Tracker and Match Live: statistics and match progress in real time.
Horse racing with ZEturf
In autumn 2026, bet365 added horse racing through a partnership with ZEturf, a pool betting operator already established in France. Online poker is announced for later.
Responsible gambling
Like every licensed operator, bet365 offers deposit and betting limits, self-exclusion and voluntary bans. The operator also says it works with Joueurs Info Service.
A serious rival to Betclic, Winamax and Unibet, especially for fans of custom bets. Read our full review.
